The Streaming Giant Selects Ideal Star for Mr. 2 in One Piece Third Season
The Secret Organization is set to make a major impact in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, although the major clash isn’t set to occur until the third season, and a cherished, fan-favorite member has recently been selected.
The platform declared this week that the talented performer is now part of the One Piece season 3 cast and will embody Bentham. Bon Clay can use their power to change into an identical duplicate of anyone they’ve made contact with with their dominant hand. Escola, who is gender non-conforming and goes by they/them, will depict a rendition of that role reinterpreted as non-binary, instead of as a drag performer, in the real-life adaptation, differing from the initial comic and animated series.
This performer is joined by several other new cast members tasked with bringing the organization to life, including head the main antagonist, brought to life by Joe Manganiello, an emerging star as Miss Goldenweek, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who is also part of the cast as King Nefertari Cobra of the fictional land.
Even though the role is a major member of Baroque Works, the character will be introduced in One Piece the third season. With season 2 likely to portray the Little Garden storyline, this represents a major departure in the schedule of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could indicate additional alterations to the narrative framework.
The actor’s combination of sharp comedic timing and deep sensitivity makes them a ideal selection for the character. In addition to their latest vocal work in the animated coming-of-age film Boys Go to Jupiter, they received high praise and numerous honors for creating and performing in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, showcasing the versatility they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s widely praised characters.
The streaming service’s real-life One Piece series is set to return for its season two on March 10, 2026.
